James Dyson Calling Better Support For Engineering Jobs

To pull Britain out of the recession, Sir James Dyson has issued a revolutionary set of proposals to reconstruct the manufacturing and technology industries that will boost engineering jobs UK. The artificer, who has earned millions from his innovative designs and the vacuum technology that bears his name, set out his sight in the report Ingenious Britain.

Accredited by the Conservative Party, it calls for fresh graduates to come in the industry to make it successful and pull out of the recession. An investment is also required for science and technology to sizable engineering skills base to fill the technical and civil engineer jobs demanded for his sight to be successful.

According to the Daily Telegraph report, Sir James is vital of the government’s inability to invest in civil engineering projects. He believes that regenerating manufacturing and technology and creating civil engineering jobs, must start with the government. He commented:

“We need to make decisions on big projects like high-speed rail or nuclear power and get on with it. Big projects inspire engineers and universities and children. Instead, we get bogged down with endless reports and bickering.”

Moreover, he argues for R&D tax credits – targeted for trashing by Shadow Chancellor George Osborne to be redirected to technology start-ups. He also proposes that more investment for science and technology and maths teachers would draw more high-caliber staff and help induce engineering recruitment. He is setting out better support for engineering graduates by proposing industry-sponsored scholarships of £2000 each.
