What is the difference between home and house? A home is a place where people reside whilst a house is a building made up of bricks without the presence of people Frederick W. Robertson describes home beautifully as;

‘Home is the one place in this entire world where hearts are sure of each other.  It is the place of confidence.  It is the place where we tear off that mask of guarded and suspicious coldness which the world forces us to wear in self-defense, and where we pour out the unreserved communications of full and confiding hearts.  It is the spot where expressions of tenderness gush out without any sensation of awkwardness and without any dread of ridicule’

On the same footing to complete our homes people equips them with the furniture for their comfortable living. The presence of furniture makes people realize the necessities and facilities of the life.

A man tasted the flavor of facilitation by the grace of furniture. So it would be pertinent to call furniture a home server because it serves the residents of the home by providing them comfort and bringing facilities in their life.

Furniture is a dire requirement of every home. Every corner of the home sweet home deserves a particular piece of furniture that cannot be substituted by the other like dining table is deemed as dining room furniture.

Similarly a suitable place of the bed is bedroom which is why we call it bed room furniture. In a word furniture serves home as home serves us.
