As per the new Google’s freshness update, now the content will appear in response to a query, based on its freshness, meaning that the recently created content will show higher ranking in the search, compared to an old created content.

This new update of Google, affects the online internet marketing process a great deal. If you are a business that deals with news and recent events, then you can make the most out of this update. On the other hand, if you are a general business, then managing of your reputation may become hard due to this update.

Impact:

For a general business, freshness update may have very severe and adverse impact. If your business is facing some controversy, then negative updates about your brand will go on coming. This way managing your brand’s image may become difficult, and if not take proper measurements, the brand management may become impossible.

Remedies:

The freshness update is a two way street, it works the same as in case of negative publicity, as it does for positive publicity.
