Learn Quran & Teach Quran: the world is nothing more than a folly!

Reading Quran is the most difficult task for us today. We do not think we are capable enough to teach Quran to others. This is the biggest excuse we provide, if anyone asks us to teach Quran. We have unlimited time to spend with our friends in college, universities and have hundreds and thousands to spend on Britney and Madonna’s CDs, but unfortunately not a single penny if it was about Quran recitation CDs.

We have unlimited time to give tuitions of Biology, Chemistry and Physics but we excuse if we are offered to give tuitions on Quran. It is because the other subjects make us more money, but Quran might not. This nothing but materialism has taken over us. We know the importance of Quran, but we ignore it while struggling harder for the other fields, which will yield us money in this worldly life.

I read it somewhere that if you want to learn the wisdom of the world, read Quran. Muslims are very lucky to have this book, but why don’t they realize its significance. One of the reasons behind this state of Muslims is that they have their hearts impure. When you have your hear pure and clean, you have your faith stronger. Hazrat Ali said, “The word of God is the medicine of the heart.” If you want to cleanse your heart, make use of this medicine, therefore, learn and teach Quran. Indeed he was a wise person to say,” Of all the follies the greatest is to love the world.”
