Manners of Quran Recitation

The Quran Recitation is a very important part of the life of a Muslim. Allah almighty says in the Quran,

“And that I should recite the Quran. Therefore, whoever goes aright, he goes aright for his own soul, and whoever goes ‘ astray, then say: I am only one of the warners”. Quran An-Naml [27:92]

Therefore, the Quran Recitation is often an integral part of the life of a Muslim. There are some manners of the Quran Recitation, which must be taken care of.

Consider the two verses of the Quran mentioned below.

• “And when the Quran is recited, then listen to it and remain silent, that mercy may be shown to you”. Quran Al-Araf [7:204]
• · “So when you recite the Quran, seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan” Quran An-Nahl [16:98]

Actually in these two verses some very important manners of the Quran Recitation are given. We must respect the scripture of the Quran and its recitation.

Every Muslim must know the following verse about the Quran Recitation, so that we develop a deep respect of it.

And when you recite the Quran, We place between you and those who do not believe in the hereafter a hidden barrier. Quran Al-Isra [17:45]
