Tip 1: Try cleaning memory foam mattress with a mild detergent and dissolve it in water. It is imperative to dissolve the detergent first so that you can use the suds to clean the mattress. This makes it easier to rinse it and get rid of the soap residues.

Tip 2: You can try using baking soda. Baking soda helps get rid of the stains too but in a less aggressive method. It works well in any fabric surface.

Tip 3: To remove any smell that may permeate from your memory foam, try diluting upholstery soap together with water and spray it on your mattress. If not, you can always go for the mixture of vinegar and water. Vinegar kills the germs that are actually causing the foul smell and the water lessens its acidity so it is not too strong on your memory foam.

Tip 4: You might want to air your mattress out. This helps dry the moisture that seeped in when you removed the stains.

Tip 5: As a final step in cleaning your mattress, you should flip it over. Memory foam mattresses are good but there are some people that complain they got a mattress that easily sags.
