How Do The Fortunetellers Tell Us Something About Future?

There are many scholars of Islam who are giving their services so that the people can have a clear concept of Islam and they can spend their lives according to the path of Islam.  People who teach Quran and educate Hadith are really the blessed people of Allah (SWT). They are the people who play their part in eradicating the false beliefs and misconceptions.

Many people have this confusion that if Allah (SWT) is the only One who knows the Unseen then how can the fortunetellers tell us the truth and how can they predict rightly? First, there is a need to understand that Knowledge of the unseen is something that Allah (SWT) has kept for Himself and it is seated in the Holy Quran as well, Allah (SWT) says in the Quran: “Say: “None in the heavens and the earth knows the Ghaib (Unseen) except Allah, nor can they perceive when they shall be resurrected”.

The unseen means which is not seen by anyone (from the earth and heavens) and that only belongs to Allah (SWT); another meaning of unseen is the things which are unseen for some people, but not all.

What fortunetellers tell people, are all lies and their educational guess. It has nothing to do with the Ilmul Ghhaib (the knowledge of unseen). Rasulullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) told us that they steal knowledge of that, which Allah (SWT) has revealed to His angels. They don’t get the full information, they pick and mix, and people start believing in them (the weaker believers).

We must learn and teach Quran in order to have strong Imaan (belief) and in order to stay away from these liars.
