Qur’an Is The Greatest Blessing

Qur’an has got to be the epicentre of the life of a true Muslim, as it is referred as a gift and blessing bestowed by God Almighty to His humble creatures. Allah Almighty declares His beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Qur’an to be the greatest gifts for all humanity to come till The Judgment Day.

This verse is clearly evident of the fact:

Aal-e-Imran [3:164] Indeed Allâh conferred a great favour on the believers when He sent among them a Messenger (Muhammad P.B.U.H) from among themselves, reciting unto them His Verses (the Quran), and purifying them (from sins by their following him), and instructing them (in) the book (the Quran) and Al¬Hikmah [the wisdom and the Sunnah of the Prophet P.B.U.H(i.e. his legal ways, statements, acts of worship)], while before that they had been in manifest error.

Similarly our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) also signified the importance of Qur’an on many occasions. One example is quoted with the help of following hadith:

“I am leaving you two things and you will never go astray as long as you cling to them — they are the Book of Allah and my Sunnah.” [Reported by Al- Haakim - Sahih].

Though, the blessings and enlightenment of Qur’an is beyond one’s grasp of logic and imagination, the insistance by God and His beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) alone should be enough for a true Muslim soul to devote his/her life in learning the teachings of Quran.

This shall make sure that a person is living his life according to the wish and will of The Mightiest, seeking unimaginable benefits in this life and the life thereafter.
