Quran education, an obligation of highest priority and impacts

Published by admin | Filed under Qur'an

God Almighty has been the most kind and merciful to the humanity in descending upon us the two of His great gifts and blessings, i.e. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Holy Quran, as stated by Himself in the following verse:

Aal-e-Imran [3:164] Indeed Allâh conferred a great favour on the believers when He sent among them a Messenger (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves, reciting unto them His Verses (the Quran), and purifying them (from sins by their following him), and instructing them (in) the book (the Quran) and Al¬Hikmah [the wisdom and the Sunnah of the Prophet SAW (i.e. his legal ways, statements, acts of worship)], while before that they had been in manifest error.

It is now our duty as obliged souls to equip ourselves with Quran education to get the best of what God has bestowed us with. Quran education is more of a religious obligation to Muslims than anything else, greatly to their own benefits, as it is the ultimate source of knowledge and wisdom. Allah says:

Al-Anbiya [21:10] We have revealed for you (O men!) a book in which is a Message for you: will ye not then understand?

That is why Quran education is treated with such a fervor and concern amongst Muslims all over the world to comply with the clear and explicit words from The Mightiest Himself. Therefore, Muslims all over the world take it to be their ultimate responsibility in furnishing their next generations with the best of Quran education at an early age so that love of God, Islam and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) can be inculcated in them for living a meaningful life.
