Should Women Go To Mosque For Praying

There is lot of controversies regarding the rights of Women in various cultures. They do what according to their believe is right without any authorization. Islam has given equal rights to both women and men. Therefore how can you stop the Islamic activity. This is very much against the Islamic law. It is better that you teach Quran to women so that they can play a vital role in the society. Mosque is like a school for all the Muslims so a Muslim woman must go to mosque like an institution.

Women have always played a vital role in the spread of religion Islam, first women who accepted religion Islam was Hazrat Khadija (R.A) and the first women who died was called shaheed for the religion Islam and was named as Hazrat Summiya (R.A). Apart from the past women are still paying an important role in various parts of the world.

It is mentioned in Sahih Bukhari, Vol 1, Hadith # 832, Chap # 84: “When your wife ask to go to mosque, do not prohibit them.”

There is no single hadith or verse of Holy Quran which prohibits women from going to mosque. There are many hadiths which speak the total opposite of that. This can also be seen from the past when Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) used to pray in mosque, women were also present at that time.

It is said in Sahih Bukhari, Vol 1, Hadith # 824, Ch # 80: “When the women ask you to go to the mosque at night allow them.”

There must be separate and equal facilities for all women in mosque. There must be separate ablution, separate entering and some other facilities as well.
