Treating wife in Ramadan

(In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, all praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger)

Islam is the religion of peace and blessings and it talks about love and harmony. Ramadan is the weapon of a Muslim because every deed has its reward magnified in Ramadan. To seek Allah SWT’s mercy and his consent, one must submit whole heartedly to Him alone.

The relationship of husband and wife is very sacred in Islam. And in Ramadan, the efforts of both of them are doubled or even more, so treating the wife fairly and justly is a must for every husband especially in this holy month. There are certain issues that must be taken into account as far as fasting in Ramadan goes. Like, for example, a sexual relationship. Does that suffer in Ramadan? Is it forbidden? The answer is no. However, the rules in this month are different.

One is allowed to approach his wife sexually but not in the state of a fast in Month of Ramadan. Once the time of the fast has past, it is allowed. But keep in mind that doing such an act of this nature while in the state of a fast is totally forbidden. However, kissing is allowed, but not to go further as it initiates the desire to exceed.
