Benefits Of Sleeping On The Right Side

Sleeping on the right side is Sunnah of our beloved prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) as he used to sleep on his rights. There are so many reasons of sleeping on the right side. Our actual health conditions depend on the sleeping way. Is some cases sleeping on the left side can cause of any heart disease but some time it could give you better sleep to make your body functions better. The best way to spend life is Quran and Sunnah to all mankind.

The habit of sleeping on the left side may harmful especially to those who had heart attack and who is suffering from chronic heart failure. It can disturb the sympathetic nervous system in the body that normally controls the blood pressure and heart rate. Your heart will not perform proper functions. On the other hand, habit of sleeping on the right is the healthy sign as it may control the blood pressure and heart rate.

There are some benefits of sleeping on the right side during pregnancy. Try avoiding sleeping on the left side as there will be more stress and strain on the heart as your different organs like lings, stomach may press to the region of heart that may harmful for you and your kid. There is a Hadith that will definitely help you out to sleep better as compare to the past.

“When you go to bed, do wudoo’ as if for prayer, then lie down on your right side…” (Al-Bukhari, al-Wudoo’, 239).

So, sleep right side by putting your right hand under your cheek after doing Wudu and then say (O Allah, in your name I die and I live). And when wakeup say “Praise be to Allah who has brought us back to life after causing us to die, and to Him is the resurrection”. Keep in touch with Quran ad do follow Sunnah to live better life ahead. JazakAllah
