Islam Encourages Science And Learning Through Observation

Islam is the only religion that encourages education and learning. The element of Islam that led to such a rapid spread of this religion was its encouragement for learning and education. If you read and understand Quran, you can easily see that Quran encourages Muslims to learn, observe and get education.

This is because observation leads Muslims to understand the complexities of this world and it also enables them to find signs that are a proof of the existence of Allah. Learning also enables Muslims to comprehend the teachings of Islam and the Quran.

Muslim history shows that Muslims have been known for the discoveries in science. It also shows that Islamic empire was the most advanced because Islam never prohibited Muslims from gaining education. Muslims were the pioneer in finding cure for many diseases and they became the founders of research. Therefore, it can be said that Muslims were the early masters in the field of science and medicine.

Allah encourages Muslims and all other human beings to learn through observation. It not only gives them evidence regarding the presence of Allah, but also helps them to open their mind and enhance their capability. Those who observe are better able to understand.

Additionally, whenever you teach Quran to a child, it is your duty to make sure that he or she understands the basic principles of Islam. It is the duty of the Quran teacher to eliminate the misconceptions regarding Islam and force people to understand the truth.
