Unlike other religions, Islam is all about introducing harmony and mutual coherence in a society to maintain its progressive existence. For Muslims, bidding what is deemed right according to the teachings of Allah Almighty and His beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and forbidding what these exalted authorities refer to be wrong is a collective duty.
In fact, in an Islamic society, no one heeds to fulfillment of this commandment, everyone would be considered guilty for what he could have done but did not do, thus making it incumbent upon everyone contributing for this according to their individual capacities.

Islamic teachings inform us that bidding for the right according to your capacity, same as forbidding the wrong should be performed by hands (or actions) foremost, then by tongue, and then down within one’s heart, which is regarded as the weakest degree of faith one can live with.
One should learn Quran to have the best idea of what it pertains to; for example, in the following verse of Holy Quran Allah Almighty addresses humanity as:
“He commands them what is just, and forbids them what is unjust, allows them as lawful what is good and prohibits them from what is bad” (9:157).
Therefore, those who vow to take up this revered duty should be very well aware of all the good they enjoin and all the bad they forbid, to the degree that they should be humble and polite in performing it. In addition, they should be willing and patient enough to tolerate any wrongdoings of people they want to preach Allah’s message to. May Allah Almighty endow the conviction and strength to perform this obligation of the religion to all of us.
